Whenever I feel like having fried rice with something crunchy to go with it, I would like visit NST Coffeeshop in Kota Kemuning and order the Thai style Fried Rice from the “tai chow” stall there. It’s fried in spicy and sour flavour with pineapples and chili padi. It is then topped with tiny pieces of fried meat covered with batter. It cost RM4.00 per plate for 1 person.

Was exploring the old way to Port Dickson from Nilai and we passed by Mantin town in Negeri Sembilan and decided to check out some of the breakfast place. We made a stop at the Pusat Penjaja Mantin and checked out Gerai Makanan U Ee,

We noticed most of the tables are ordering from this stall, hence we gave it a try. I ordered the curry noodles while Jack ordered the dried noodles plus a few pieces of yong tau foo. The yong tau foo looks old school pork type, and its really good, no regret but the noodles are so so only. The curry noodles cost RM2.80 with a lot of stuff inside and I added “si-hum” or clams which cost RM0.30 more ;)

Coffee as usual in most small town is fantastically rich and fragrant, really good I must say, a good stop if you are passing by anytime ;) .

This yong tau foo place is located in Kg Cempaka in Petaling Jaya which is converted into a restaurant from a corner house. They offer a range of yong tau foo at RM0.80 each and kampar fish/meatballs at RM0.40 each. You can either take it with rice, chee cheong fun or noodles that comes in curry or soup.

Taste wise is so so, fish type of paste but the environment is ok, lots of fan and easy to find parking plus a lot of staffs ready to serve.
