It was lunch time in Cyberjaya… so where to do you go for lunch there? Johnson who used to spent a lot of time in Cyberjaya at his previous company suggest a place in Dengkil and we decided to check it out. Located at Jalan Puchong Dengkil just opposite the Chinese school, its a corner shop of 2 storeys.
Most of the lunch crowd here seems to be IT workers from Cyberjaya and looks like quite a popular place too. There are 5 of us and we ordered a tofu with minced pork, fried sweet potato leaves, buttermilk chicken and fried pork belly.
The tofu is ok, deep fried then top with minced pork, but the one at New Paris in PJ is still better I think. The vege is standard la, no comments on that. The buttermilk chicken is quite nice, basically “lai yau” in Cantonese where the chicken is fried with buttermilk. Their pork belly have a unique style known as “cheong pao”, direct translation means “sauce explode”. Usually pork belly would be fried with salted fish and dark sauce but this one is pre-marinated then deep fried till crispy.
Overall I think the food is ok la, RM63 is the damage for 5 of us plus tea and rice. Thanks Johnson for showing this place
