Yen Nam, the man who just got married decided to take us around Kulim for food till we drop… we started by going to Wenxi for Dim Sum. It was a Sunday and a working day there in Kedah but somehow, it feels like a non working day as you see most of the local are still at dim sum breakfast and Yen Nam seems to know everyone there :O.
I can’t recall how much was it, I think it was around RM60? for dim sum for 2 tables, consider cheaper than KL a lot. They have the usual steam and fried varieties here. The dim sum are ok, not bad and a little different from those in KL too. They have like steam yam dim sum there, something I have not seen in KL. The lotus leaf rice, fried lobak kueh and pau is quite nice as well.
Pretty decent place and good pricing for dim sum here but come earlier should have more choice, we sleepy heads only head there at 10am plus
