Hi Lee, there are season for eel fishing, please check the harvesting time before going.

The best time to fish is after harvesting, so generally fields are left unattended, so you won’t be disrupting their work but if you see any worker there, as courtesy just ask permission. So far no fees la, there are lots of longkang (waterway) around the fields, you can try there too.

As you are going to Sekinchan town from Klang Valley direction, on your left are many fields, just take one of the small road and go in to explore, there are tonnes of them. You can try this coordinate if you have GPS:
N3 28.468 E101 07.931

hi, your trip looks fun. I m planning to have a paddy field visit in Sekinchan too. But I do not know where can I fish the eel and take some nice pictures of the paddy field. any suggestion? do we have to pay fees or get permission from the owner?
