PJ – Seeri Authentic Thai Restaurant

At night time, the entire “chow yang SS2″ area turned into a popular makan place for PJ folks as most family opt to eat out on the weekend for rice and dishes kind of place. One of the mainly choices here is the Seeri Authentic Thai Restaurant.

The dishes are quite authentic except that they do not serve pork here. There are quite a range of choices for ala carte and they also provide set meals for RM6 up each.

I ordered a small seafood tomyam (RM15), squid fried with chilies (RM12) and a chicken fried with basil (RM12) for my dinner. The tomyam portion is good, serve in a charcoal heated pot with a generous amount of seafood (squid, prawns and fish) in it. It is a quite sour but not very spicy, which may be a good thing for folks like me after having too much spicy food on my last trip to Phuket recently.

The squid fried with chilies is nice, again taste is good, not too spicy but the squid are really good, soft and tender. The basil fried chicken is ok and goes well with my rice. For those who love spicy food, I think you will need to tell them to make it thai spicy standard for you ;) .
