Just opposite the old Giant in SS5D, Kelana Jaya lies a row of stalls that sells various Malay and Indian goodies!

Occasionally I would stopped here to take away some tea time snacks back to the office when I am out for appointments.

The varieties here is good, from keropok lekor to rojak, cendol, burger ramli down to all sort of malay kueh can be found.

My favourite here is the Indian van selling Pakoda. Its a kind of fried kueh made from potato flour (if I remembered correctly)  with chopped onions, chili padi and coriander leaves in them, very very good, crispy outside and soft inside! For RM1.00 you get a handful of them.

I also like to buy the pulut panggang here, 5 pcs for RM2.00 and the apong balik is good too at RM2.00 for a big piece but sometimes they pre-made, just wish they make it hot on each order, will be so much nicer!

I stumbled across this interesting Indonesian wine at the supermarket in Jakarta. Its a sparkling grape wine but looks like something brewed in China from the packaging!

The bottle itself is scary! Costing Rp.27,000.00 (about RM9.50) I told ok… let’s give it a try!

The label states +-5% alcohol… but I really doubt it, more like +++5% to me.. hahaha…

Anyway, the moment I opened the bottle, the whole apartment smells of alcohol. It look just like sparkling grape wine and taste very smooth, sweet and easy to drink like a light moscato wine.

However, after a few good sip you can feel the alcohol is really strong. It was an interesting try, quite nice and easy to drink but might just be too strong for me ;)

Like Pak Sky said… good drink if you want to get people drunk, just 2-3 bottles will do the job!
